I was worried buying a wool quilt would be too heavy for what I am use to but it's the perfect amount of warmth and weight. Hands down will only ever get woolen quilts from now on

Before buying this quilt I did a lot of searching around for a good quality wool quilt, I visited at least 5 different shops and checked out their quilts. I checked out some top brands and to be honest, I wasn't sold on the thickness or quality for the price that you pay. I came across the Halcyon website and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot. Can the quilt be as good as the reviews? Well, in a word, yes. The quilt we received (pure opulence in King size) is exactly as described. It is covered in a quality sateen cover, and the quilt itself is beautiful and warm without being too heavy. We hadn't yet bought an electric blanket for our new King bed, and with temperatures getting down to 0 degrees I was worried that I would freeze. I needn't have worried, when you sleep under this quilt it is like being covered in a warm cloud, absolutely dreamy. Very happy with my purchase, would highly recommend, and I might even buy a lighter weight one for summer. Excellent customer service, fast postage, awesome product. Thank you.

My wool quilt come very quickly and has been perfect for this late winter into spring weather. Living in the southern highlands our temperatures fall suddenly, so the product is excellent.

Living in Ballarat both my wife & myself cannot believe what a difference this underlay has made to the temperature under the doona and how much better we are sleeping through the night. You do not need an electric blanket if you have one of these underlays on your bed :-)

Soft and comfy

We recently purchased a new pure wool underlay for our bed. It replaced the cushion top that was on there. The difference in softness was not expected to be so noticeable. Thank you for a great (Aussie) product.

Now this is what we were meant to dream on. So soft and comfortable. Had woollen underlay before but this 1000gsm is just divine to sleep on. Since sleeping on woollen pillows I have not woke up with a stiff neck or painful shoulders
