Warmest doona I’ve used

I have been wanting a really warm doona for a while and finally purchased. I love the fact it’s a two in one as I normally have a different doona for summer and winter. I’ve been using both layers together and I’m so warm at night. I’ve been a little too warm so I removed the extra blanket I previously used. I live in Melbourne and don’t run my heater when I sleep. I am very happy with my purchase. The only downside is I wish the doona had a press stud rather than a tie to keep them together. I also would have liked a cloth bag to keep the extra doona in when you’re not using to keep to clean and dust free.
Super King WOOL quilt

The Halcyon Wool Quilt is simply the most beautiful wool quilt I have ever owned. I purchased the warmest one (7) and it is just perfect. Snuggly, warm, light and has the ability to be used even if the weather is not so cold right through to freezing. No more extra blankets needed. Love it!
Lives up to its name

Purchased two Snuggler quilts for my kids. They are thick and warm. Noticeably warmer and thicker than other all season wool quilts, but not at all uncomfortably heavy. Highly recommend.
Cosy heaven

This underlay is so good, especially if you are older or have joint problems. I have slept much better since I started using it. Previously I used a synthetic underlay, which was comfortable but was inclined to make me perspire. There are no such problems with the woollen one.
Better than feathers and down

Having owned synthetic and feather and down quilts and not being satisfied with either I decided to try wool. This is easily the best quilt I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping under. The weight is comforting, the breath ability keeps me perfectly warm without feeling like I’m in a sauna. The asymmetric fill is perfect for my partner and I to both be comfortable despite sleeping warm/cold at different levels. I cannot fault this quilt one little bit! And then to know it was made in Australia with Australian wool is the cherry on the cake. Delivery was super quick!

Too big?

Love this, I'm a HOT sleeper and my husband is not. This works well. The only problem is that I bought a king size for my queen sized bed thinking it would be nice to hang over and cover the mattress nicely. I'm not sure if it's because of the size, but it seems to slip and move a bit, because it's too big and heavy? and I think I end up with a bit of the thicker doona on my side. However, it is great quality and a fantastic product.
Two-sided fabulousness
