The 700gsm quilt is perfect for cold winter nights here in the Blue Mountains. Thick but soft and doesn't feel as heavy as expected. The construction is strong so I'll probably also get a lighter quilt from here for warmer months.

I purchased this pure-wool doona for my much loved 25 year old grandson, currently living in freezing-cold Canberra - ACT - being QLD born, he was not used to such extreme conditions - when asked, he said, " it keeps me very warm and snugly at night, I simply love my new doona". - what more can I say ? - mission accomplished! Extremely warm and comfortable. It's lightweight makes it comfortable. You can feel the warmth as soon as your under the covers. Highly recommended.
