This is so luxurious and well made. The pillow is very comfortable, firm and high to start with but does settle in with use. Highly recommend along with the Soother Doona to match.

I never wrote a review before, but this time it matters. I never thought that buying a woollen quilt, a woollen pillow and a woollen mattress base could turn into an ethical and emotional issue. First thing first. Recently I moved to Melbourne, Although I had proper bed-cover, I experienced sleepless nights due to the cold. My well-being was, literally, turned apart. The daily search on line for warm, quality bed-products lasted weeks. My prerequisites were: 1 warmth, comfort and well-being; 2 quality product;
3 ethical product (more about it later); 4 Australian made; 5 good price; 6 good service. Halcyondreams was my hero. Now, every morning, I like to indulge under the warm quilt, feel the softness of the mattress cover and hug the pillow. Halcyondreams' excellent bed-products have restored my well-being. Thank You.
My search took me to dark places. Please investigate this part-description before you commit yourself to buy a quilt: ... non-living geese feathers ... it is emotionally and ethically challenging.

I bought this quilt to replace a feather and down doona that I'd had for many years and wasn't expecting anything wonderful. Better than wonderful is what I got. The warmth, the weight and the feel of this wool quilt makes it a pleasure to go to bed. Thank you, Halcyon.
The Soother King Single Quilt

Such a lovely quilt so warm yet light. The cotton covering is also wellmade. Would highly recommend and well worth the cost . Was tossing up between the 500 and 700 GSM. Glad I chose the 500 as this is more than enough for temps in the low teens.

I have purchased (3) machine washable King Single Supreme Comfort Woollen Underlays. We love this product, which has lasted the test of time. They are extremely durable and comfortable. They are also reversable for summer and winter. Love this feature. Perfect for caravans too. I highly recommend this as best on the market.

This was a gift to my parents. I love how one side is warmer than the other which is definitely what my parents needed, each to their own. The quality of the wool is good too. So far no problems and it seems like it will last a long time. For myself i went under the quilt and the 700 gsm is very warm for me, the 500 gsm is pretty good but could get hot if you sleep a little warm, if you want it snug and warmish without being too warm and something you could keep even in the Victorian summer then i feel like the 350 gsm could be enough for an all season type blanket. The one i bought 500/700 was definitely something my parents appreciated! It's also easy to wash if you select to buy the machine washable one which i did, just chuck it in the washing machine and you're done. Thank you Halcyon Dreams for making a product like this that many other companies do not.
