Perfect for sleeping on the ground

Yes, it’s not the conventional use for a woollen underlay. I use it as the top-most layer of a futon-type setup, providing breathable temperature control. Haven’t felt the cold yet. The 30cm skirt is handy to keep a folded, old woollen blanket in place for more padding. All laid over a jute rug! I needed something washable because I have cats who love to pee on anything left on the floor. The underlay takes the edge off the hardness off my setup, and honestly it’s really relaxing to rub my toes amongst the wool when I’m drifting off to sleep. I am yet to wash it (no cat pee) but so far so good!

I have used a reversible woollen underlay on my bed for many years. I recently bought a split Queen electric bed so I needed 2 single underlays to replace what I had. I wanted it to be 100% pure Australian wool & I wanted it it to be Australian made. I also wanted it to be the same quality that I had been used to as well. I was very pleased when I got my 2 new woollen underlays. I love the fact I can machine wash them which was also very important to me. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a great sleep.

Bought this underlay recently. Very happy with the quality. Needed an underlay with some warmth and softness for my cool and firm latex mattress. Fits the bill. Better than a standard aftermarket mattress topper which I tried in the past and gave away. The service from Halcyon Dreams was first rate; The underlay arrived quickly from interstate, I mistakenly ordered twice and they inquired about it immediately rather than letting it ride and making me pay twice; and happily arranged for a return and refund. I didn't have to plead a case with them. The whole experience was very satisfying and I'll buy from them again. Thanks Chardonne!
