Such a good quilt for couples with one hot sleeper and one colder sleeper. Sides are clearly marked so they don’t get mixed up.

Dual weight doona is a winner

I have bad circulation and for years have suffered with freezing cold feet and hands, so I bought a 700gsm doona from a competitor. It is terrific….. but only for me. My husband has complained about having to sleep in a pizza oven. Halcyon’s dual gms doona is the solution. My husband has the 500 gsm side and I have the 700gsm side. Excellent results. I still need a blanket as well but with it, I am deliciously snug. Given that I put a blanket across both sides of the bed, I could perhaps have got the 300gsm for my husband. Nevertheless, things are still pretty good. Clever thinking on the part of Halcyon. Many thanks.

Great quilt

My wife and I have a queen sized bed and have been using a queen sized down quilt for many years. That's all great, but sometimes I get hot and throw the blanket off of me while my wife is cooler. The dual density quilt is a great solution. It's only May in Sydney and we've been using it for a few weeks, but I believe it will be perfect through the winter and into spring, with my 500gsm and my wife's 700gsm. I never thought about it, but I like having a little bit of weight on me with the quilt, compared to the near weightless down quilt. I have no idea why, but it's a nice feeling. Also, we have a vizsla dog that insists on sleeping between us and pushes us to the side, so the queen size was not big enough. We opted for the king size quilt so there is a lot of extra slack on the sides for us. It all works really well and are happy with the dual density quilt and the sizing. Really happy with the service and delivery as well.
