You will love your doona because it’s not heavy but warm , I’ve used mine for the cooler autumn months with a flannel sheet and temperature is right. Will see how the temperature is mid winter . Also the filling doesn’t end up at one end because of the stitching over the doona.

Bought it for my mum who is over 80 because she was cold at night. She loves it. Said it's comfortable and cosy warm. It snugs around her body, so no draughty gaps. Very happy. Would highly recommend. Love that it's Aussie made too!

Purchased a new winter wool quilt for my 4 year old and immediately regretted not purchasing one for myself. It is incredibly warm and indulgent and she is sleeping so much better at night. In the same order I purchased two wool pillows and they have been brilliant for the side / stomach sleeper in me. It’s equal parts firm and soft and low.
