We ordered the halcyon dream opulence quilt for Melbourne winters. We couldn’t be happier. The quilt sounded heavy 750gm but it’s not! The quilt of this size was surprisingly light and incredibly warm. The quality of the stitching and fabric is of very high standard too!

I adore the Halcyon 700 GSM pure opulence quilt. It's my savior in this cold Sydney weather...coming from Dubai, I was struggling to stay warm till I bought this quilt. It's a game changer - it keeps me warm, I wake up cosy and well rested. What's more, it's made in Australia and I love that I am doing my big to support the local business and economy.
Great product quality, superior craftsmanship and perfect stitching... I recommend this quilt to anyone who is looking for quality product.

Fantastic Doona so warm but not heavy. Excellent quality .I was very impressed with the customer service. I brought the product when on Sale but as I was finalising this the sale had ended. Straight away I was contacted after my email with a message and a call the next day . So impressed and surprised that I was reimbursed and only had to pay The Sale Price( Which they didn’t technically need to honour) Brilliant Aussie product .Highly recommend

Top Quality Quilt And Service!

I discovered I was a 'hot sleeper' upon changing from a waterbed to a 'normal' bed a month ago. I had been using a good quality 430gsm microfiber quilt since I have allergies but it made me feel I was in an oven & it was heavy! I spent ages researching the web, trying to find THE perfect quilt for me as I wanted a quilt with some loft but not make feel as if I was boiling within a few hours of going to bed. I discovered Halcyon Dreams during my searches & was attracted to it since it is an Australian company that uses 100% Australian products, so I sent a query explaining my problems. Chardonne promptly replied & kindly offered to ring me so we could discuss the options. She advised me to buy "4 Seasons Splendour Wool Quilt" as she believed that would satisfy my needs although she commented it would not have as a high loft like a feather & down quilt. She also said if I was not happy with the quilt to please notify them & they would help me further.
As I live in the NSW Northern Rivers area, I was concerned that this woollen quilt would be too hot & heavy for me as it is 500gsm but I was pleasantly surprised at both the lightness & warmth of the quilt. It lets my body breathe! For me, it has sufficient 'loft' to make the bed look nice & our Bengal cat loves it. :)
I think it will be too warm for me during late spring, summer & early autumn so I will purchase the 350gsm 'Summer Bliss' quilt very soon.
I thoroughly recommend this quilt and company to anyone looking for a very well made woollen product by an Aussie company.
