My husband is allergic to foam mattresses so we have Latex which can be a bit hard. I love how soft and cuddly the woollen underlay feels. Lots warmer too.

I love this underlay it definitely regulates heat in the night making my expensive mattress functional when I was sure I would have to sell it. Awesome quality, super comfy

I dont need to turn on my heater or wearing extra clothes during Melb cold weather anymore. This quilt+socks perfectly warm and cuddly all night long! Xx

Purchased the 350 gsm for Perth , plenty warm enough in May , might of got away with the 200 gsm . The 700 gsm must be for the North Pole !

No More All Night Electric Blanket

The Snuggler does the job on cold Melbourne nights! Sleeping better with the warmth and weight of this quilt combined with the Halcyon Dreams Wool Underlay. Before I needed to keep the electric blanket on low all night. No more with the Snuggler. Before going to bed, I just warm up the bedroom and put the electric blanket on. Once in bed for a few minutes, turn off room heating and electric blanket and drift into a nice sleep. As the quilt is very warm, you might need to adjust bed clothing depending on how cold the night will be. More clothing for colder night, less clothing for not as cold night. Snuggler and wool underlay a winter winning combination.

For years I have had to put up with the bed being turned into a brick kiln every winter. The "Winter weight" quilt would go on mid May and not come off until October. Countless nights of perspiration for me while the ice queen stays comfortable. This two zone quilt has given me a very comfortable sleep and I have never heard "I am cold" coming from the other side of the bed. Just a tip though - make sure you get it around the right way !
