I live in Melbourne and we don’t overheat our house so our bedding needs to be household-appropriate. The description of the 500GSM Soother suggested it might be too light a weight for our climate. My partner prefers a cooler quilt so I had to take this into account. Then I read reviews talking about the lightness of this quilt. Based on previous experience, I had equated warmth in a wool quilt with weight. What swayed me with Halcyon Dreams, apart from Aussie ownership, design and construction, was the ability to exchange. So, I bought, we slept and we love our new quilt. It’s light and warm enough for both our needs. I’m planning to buy another and some pillows for our camper. Very impressed!

My new Soother quilt is exactly as named. From the minute I get into bed, it warms me to the perfect temperature. It’s an ideal weight, not too light or too heavy. It’s a struggle to get out of bed in the morning to say the least. This is a high quality product that lives entirely up to its reviews and description. I am a little concerned that I run too hot for this quilt to be an all year number for me, but I guess summer will tell! Thank you Halcyon!!
Woollen Underlay

Really comfortable. Added a layer of comfort to a mattress I wasn't that happy sleeping on. Only issue is that it moves around a bit as the sides are quite soft and don't cling to the mattress well.

I bought the 350gsm for my husband as he doesn't feel the cold as much as I do. He finds it perfect for our cold winter nights.

I love my Wool Quilt. I have recently moved to Toowoomba, Queensland, so am experiencing my first cold winter here. The 500gsm suits me perfectly. It is so snug and comfy, and is definitely not too heavy. Highly recommended.

Beautiful doona which has so much improved my sleep. I was very hot all the time and my husband was cosy. Having the partner doona has been so good. The doona is comfortable and great quality. Very happy with the service and quality. Highly recommend.

Having the best nights sleep in a long time.
As a sinus sufferer i didn't realise my old duck down doona was making me so sick.
Since purchasing my wool doona from Halcyon Dreams i have had no sinus at all!
